Noon bitches, just woke up and already cleaned my room and did the dishes. Someone better make sure my mom never finds out—I don’t want her knowing I’m actually capable of basic life skills.
Moving out for kinda the first time hit me harder than I expected. I don’t know how many people can relate, but I grew up being very spoiled—no chores, no cleaning, no cooking, and definitely no clue how to do laundry properly. Back home, I was thriving, fully embracing the “pampered princess” lifestyle. But when you move out? Yeah, reality slaps you in the face real quick.
So here I am, living in Italy, studying veterinary medicine, and figuring out adulthood one chaotic day at a time. I was terrified at first, but now my biggest daily struggle is deciding what to eat next. How do people do that three times a day for a lifetime??
On a completely different note, I have so much catching up to do on schoolwork (studying in Italian? Not easy, friends.). So, last night, I made a very ambitious promise to myself: “Tomorrow, I will finish ALL of my schoolwork.”
Will it actually happen? Stay tuned for the next post to find out… spoiler: probably not.
Go study, you silly gooses!
